
Shaye Hopkins is an Australian professional actor, singer, dancer living in New York City, and studying at Anthony Meindl's Actor Workshop.
Shaye is currently performing in the world premiere of Diana - A New Musical written by Tony Award winners Joe DiPietro and David Bryan. Other recent U.S credits include Saturday Night Live ( SNL) choreographed by Nick Kenkel, Saks Theatre of Dreams Choreographed by Tammy Colucci and 2018 Broadway Bares: Games Night, choreographed and directed by Nick Kenkel.
On television, Shaye played Tiffany Giles in Channel Tens long running series Neighbours and Judith Chapman in The Doctor Blakes Mysteries. Other onscreen appearances include Bollywood's feature film Orange and Foxtel's, The Singing Office as a resident dancer.
Shaye's Australian stage credits include The Production Company's The Boy From Oz, Swing/ Sherrie cover in the Australian premiere of Rock of Ages (Kristin Hangii), Stenographer in Legally Blonde (Jerry Mitchell) in Sydney before moving onto the role of Margot for both Brisbane and Melbourne seasons. Shaye has also performed in Grease- The Musical as CeCe/ Marty Cover/ Patty Cover and was an original cast member of Georgy Girl - The Seekers Musical as Swing.
Other credits include Rock It! TV Live as the role of Astrid and Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines as a Production cast member on The Navigator of the Seas.
Shaye is also an accomplished backing vocalist in the recording studio and on stage, working with many leading pop and rock musicians in Australia.
